Mid-Autumn 2018: Manhattan-exclusive, whiskey snowskins at Regent Singapore
This year, the best of Regent Singapore, A Four Seasons Hotel, Asia's 50 Best Bars two-time No.1 bar Manhattan and two-time one Michelin-starred Summer Palace, partner for the first time to bring us two new boozy, Manhattan-exclusive snowskins: Barrel-aged Sazerac 6-year-old Rye with Coffee and Chocolate, and Barrel-aged La Louisiane Cocktail with Yuzu and Green Bean Paste (both $73 for box of 8).
And it is saddens me that it could also be quite possibly the last time we'll get to savour these eye-rollingly delicious alcohol-laced gems.
If in some cruel twist of fate you may only choose one, because both are awesome, my pick is the Barrel-aged Sazerac 6-year-old Rye with Coffee and Chocolate. Further aged for 25 days at the Regent’s unique rickhouse, the intensely complex and aromatic whiskey works perfectly with the coffee and slightly nutty notes of smooth, rich chocolate paste.
