Mid-Autumn 2018: Elegant, quiet brilliance from Madame Fan, JW Marriott Singapore

Unlike how prominent London-based restaurateur Alan Yau has done up his maiden Chinese fine-dining restaurant located at The NCO Club, and managed by the JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, Madame Fan’s mooncake boxes are comparatively simple, yet still has that touch of class and elegance.

From their fine collection, I found what is quite possibly my favourite traditional baked mooncake of this season: their signature Baked Pu Er Tea Paste Mooncake, a delectable smoky Pu Er tea flavour, exquisitely balanced with just the right sweetness with smooth lotus paste and a thin baked skin.

Madame Fan’s signature Mini Snowskin with Champagne and Chocolate Mooncake, with a crunchy chocolate truffle center filled with luxurious dark chocolate ganache, is also another winning choice.

Madame Fan's mooncakes are available from 6 August to 24 September 2018. Marriott Rewards members enjoy discount of 15%, and selected credit cardmembers can enjoy up to 15% off, T&Cs apply. To order, call +65 6818 1908, email festive@madamefan.sg, or online via here.
